Place was rustic with lots of neat things on the walls. On the positive side the view was great with cross country skiers. It was the end of the day and the place was trashed.garbage nearly overflowing. There was no sign that I saw indicating what this was but it looked unsanitary and gross. There was a spout on the barrel with some of this substance oozing out. The top of the barrel was not clean looking and had a paper cup half full of some very gross looking dark gobby substance with some dripping from the sides of the cup. Also to the left of the front counter by the window was a large somewhat dirty barrel of a dark substance that I assume is used for the maple tours. The candies from Morse earned the one star rating. My expectation was that the candy should be soft and creamy on the inside with a crystallized layer on the outside. Easy to get to and plenty of maple and non-maple things to remind you of your time in Vermont.
